First Squad Training of 2019
There was an excellent atmosphere at the first Squad Training of the year. Girls of all abilities and experience met to chat and catch up before they attacked the driving range. Richard Strange our County coach wasn't phased by the excitement but found that an awful lot of golf balls were used by 24 girls desperate to get a ball through the rugby posts!! Geoff the barman was great and never batted an eyelid when I asked for '26 hot chocolates in five minutes time please'.
Our new Junior Captain Lucy, modelled the new kit so look out for us on the course in our bright red shirts. My special thanks to Suzi Anderson, Maureen and Michael Clarke, Di Payne, Richard Strange for their help and support, and once again thanks to our parents with their amazing offers of help in the year to come.
The next session will be on Wednesday 13th March. All the girls who attended this week will be notified which group they will be in. Group 1 will be 6-7.30 and Group 2 will be 6.30 - 8 pm. If you missed the training by any chance please just come at 6pm you will be made most welcome.
